In 2013 we were awarded the Lush Training Prize for our services to the replacement of animals in testing – and in particular for our work with students and young researchers.
The Lush Prize is a major initiative aiming to bring forward the day when safety testing takes place without the use of animals. It focuses pressure on toxicity testing for consumer products and ingredients.
We were thrilled to win the prize and it’s made an enormous difference to XCELLR8’s development, thanks to the recognition of our work and the additional funding received.
In 2015 we were short listed for the Bionow Technical Service of the Year award, placing us in the top 3 nominees in this category. Bionow is a support organisation for the biotech and life science sectors in the north of England, and the annual awards showcase the best in the sector.
