The conference of the European Society for Alternatives to Animal Testing (EUSAAT) took place in Linz, Austria last week, and XCellR8’s 2 posters on our latest animal-free safety tests were very well received. Our Study Director, Nathalie, presented the posters and received a lot of positive feedback and support. One poster detailed our work to modify the KeratinoSens test for human skin sensitisation (OECD Test Guideline 442d) to animal-free conditions; the other showcased our work to provide the first truly human in vitro test for genotoxicity that detects all major classes of genotoxins (mutagens, clastogens and aneugens). The latter was carried out in collaboration with Gentronix and is called BlueScreen Animal-Free. We’ve attached the posters here – please feel free to take a look and contact us if you’d like to know more!
